1. Cute Snowman Christmas Wreath Coloring Page

Oh, these three little snowmen look like they’re having the best time decorating for Christmas! I love their fluffy winter hats, cozy scarves, and that enormous bow at the bottom. This would be such a sweet one for younger children to color, especially with bright pink or blue hats and colorful scarves.

2. Beautiful Christmas Wreath with Flowers and a Bow

Oh, this one is beautiful! With all those delicate flowers, berries, and little sprigs of greenery, I think it’s one I’d save for myself once the house is finally quiet. Try deep burgundy for the poinsettias, soft sage green for the leaves, and a lovely champagne-gold bow. It would look gorgeous framed in the hallway at Christmas.

3. Believe in the Magic Christmas Wreath

I love a Christmas picture with a sweet little message, and this one would make such a lovely homemade card. Let the kids color the big lettering in their favorite festive shades, then add their own Christmas wishes on the back. I think this would be especially nice for someone who lives far away and could do with a little Christmas cheer in the post.

4. Cute Santa Claus Christmas Wreath

Well, Santa certainly looks pleased with his Christmas decorations! His enormous fluffy beard and cheerful little face make this such a fun one for younger children. I’d keep his beard white, give his hat a bright red makeover, and let the kids choose a wonderfully colorful bow. Who says Santa has to coordinate with the Christmas decorations?

5. Christmas Wreath with Fairy Lights

Isn’t there something lovely about seeing the Christmas lights twinkling away in December? This wreath has little bulbs tucked into the greenery, just waiting for some color. Ask your child to make every light a different shade, then count how many they’ve finished. A sneaky bit of number practice without anyone realizing they’re learning!

6. Happy Santa Wreath with a Big Christmas Bow

Another Santa wreath, but this little fellow has a lovely round face surrounded by festive greenery and decorations. If the kids enjoy a challenge, print this one alongside the other Santa wreath and play a little game of spotting the differences. Then let them color the two Santas in completely different outfits. Perhaps one of them fancies a purple hat this year!

You could even give each child three crayons and see how many different Christmas color combinations they can come up with.

It looks like Santa has taken a little break from wrapping presents to help with the decorating! I wonder where he’s planning to hang that beautiful wreath? Maybe on the workshop door, or perhaps Mrs. Claus has asked him to spruce up their cottage.

5 Easy Christmas Wreath Crafts for Kids

Don’t put those finished wreaths away just yet! There are lots of lovely little things you can make with them, and most only need a few bits and pieces you’ve probably already got at home.

1. Make a Christmas Wreath for Their Bedroom Door

This is such a sweet way to let the kids decorate their own little space for Christmas! Choose one of the simpler wreaths, color it in, and have an adult carefully cut around the outside. Stick it onto a piece of cardstock to make it sturdier, then use removable tape to display it on their bedroom door.

You could even make a little family tradition of creating a new door wreath every December!

2. Create Handmade Christmas Gift Tags

If you’ve got a mountain of presents to wrap, why not let the kids help with the finishing touches? Print the wreath designs at a smaller size, color them, and cut them into little gift tags.

Write someone’s name in the middle and attach the finished tag with ribbon or string. I think these would look especially lovely on gifts wrapped in plain brown paper.

3. Make a Christmas Wreath Decorating Challenge

This is my favorite idea for those afternoons when you’ve heard “I’m bored!” more times than you can count!

Print the same simple wreath for everyone and lay out a little selection of crayons, colored pencils, and stickers. Give everyone their own theme, such as a traditional Christmas wreath, a rainbow wreath, or the fanciest wreath in the world.

Once they’re finished, line them up and let everyone explain their design. No need to choose a winner; you can have awards for the funniest, brightest, and most unusual wreath instead!

A Little Christmas Craft Safety Tip

Some of these wreaths have lots of little leaves and fiddly edges, so let younger children enjoy the coloring while a grown-up handles the cutting. Older kids can use child-safe scissors with supervision. And if you’re decorating with beads, buttons, or other tiny craft supplies, keep them well away from babies and younger children who might put them in their mouths.

4. Make a Homemade Christmas Card for Grandparents

I think there’s something extra special about a Christmas card made by a child, even if the writing is a little wonky and the colors don’t quite stay inside the lines!

Choose one of the Santa or reindeer wreaths, print it smaller, and glue it to the front of folded cardstock. Add a handwritten message inside, and you’ve got a lovely little keepsake that costs next to nothing.

5. Create Christmas Dinner Place Cards

If you’re hosting Christmas dinner, this is a lovely way to get the children involved without having them anywhere near the hot oven!

Print some of the simpler wreath designs at a smaller size and let the kids color one for each person coming to dinner. Write everyone’s name in the middle, then place the finished wreaths beside their plates.

And if someone decides to make Grandpa’s wreath bright purple with rainbow berries? Even better. Those are the little things everyone remembers!
